Jackson, Mississippi is Safe....

Postby jacksbuddy » Thu May 05, 2022 7:33 am

Piggybacking on my earlier thread, I got to thinking about just what all is Jackson safe from. So I made a list. Please feel free to add your thoughts and suggestions to the following.

Items From Which Jackson is Safe:

1. Tsunami
2. Swiss Alps Avalanche
3. Naval bombardment from a Congonese battle cruiser
4. Stampede from a herd of unicorns - purple ones, with sparkles
5. Thermonuclear attack from radical Chechenian separatists stationed in Georgia of the former Soviet Union
6. A new Tesla manufacturing plant
7. Republicans
8. Clean water
9. smooth streets
10. Common sense
11.
12.
Nobody owes you anything.

^^^^Y'all ain't gonna believe this, but a few months ago I had a neighbor (in Madison) move TO Jackson because the wife worked downtown and she wanted to be closer to her work. {It only takes about 30 minutes to go from our neighborhood to her office downtown. I know this because she was a coworker of mine at the time.)

No comment as to how the husband felt about this decision.

I heard they’re opening a Tesla dealership in Brandon.

^^Why?^^

The more trendy target market is in Madison. Besides, do they even make a 4 wheel drive Tesla? I mean, how would you put a lift kit on that thing?

But oh, we'd love to see one, wouldn't we? With a huge, blaze orange DU sticker on the back window.

I don’t know? It may be an extension of one of the existing dealers down there?

It may be totally false?

I would actually enjoy having a battery powered pick up

“IF” The following conditions could be met:

1. Affordable
2. Must have range equivalent to that of current GMC 1500 gas burner. 3-400 miles highway. Or all day long, creeping along turn rows with the AC on full blast….. ALL DAY!!
3. Must be able to be recharged to a practical amount within 30 minutes.
4. Needs to be as capable as a standard issue 1500 GMC. Towing a trailer, hauling a load etc. and it needs to be able to do this with the same fuel range that a gas burner would handle towing a a heavy trailer.
5. I’ll say affordable again. I would not pay a premium for something that’s not tried and true yet.

But I would enjoy having one especially for my night time animal killing routine. Just think how much more quiet that somebich would be than a gas burner.

And most importantly the radio antenna needs to be on the roof. Passenger side lower on the hood is no good.

No idea why your radio antenna would need to be on the roof. Not like some 1/2 drunk retard would actually connect to it with a 9mm round.
But on that note, may want to think about those side mirrors too. They get in the way sometime I hear. :D

Why not Brandon? Madison has lost it’s appeal and headed into a slow burn. It’s just that the people up there haven’t realized it yet. Same for Flowood. :D :D :D

^^^Nah, the Madison elitists are moving to Gluckstadt.^^^ :D

Believe it or not, the city that is really working hard to improve itself is Ridgeland. Have you been looking at what all they have been up to? Building and upgrading parks, revitalizing their little 'downtown' area, building a new City Hall facility, etc., etc.

Not to mention, bashing the LBGTQ+Z?&%Xtothethirdpower@#dividedbyinfinity! community by their actions at the library.

What ultimately became from the library issue?

Did they get those faggot books tossed out?

Or do you have to go behind a curtain now to get to a little secret room where you can view them?

Regardless I thought that was a good move to bring it to light.

In other matters, yes I still have a half a can of GMC Summit white spray paint in the event that I need to replace another side view mirror.

I put a professional paint job on that mirror. I put it on a box and bought some of that plastic spray primer and actually read the instructions and applied the topcoat at the correct time interval.

I think it was a three day deal for primer +2 coats paint.

I got stuck on top of a terrace last night at 1:30 AM. Luckily I was able to jack up the front end and lunge backwards after about three attempts. Fawk.

Haha.

I don't know about the library thing. I DO know that ACLU got all a twitter about that. But then, they'd lead the fight to alter Disney cartoons to the point we'll never look at Elsa, Anna and Christof the same way again.
