the more I am convinced that Jackson and Hinds county have gone completely to Hell in a Handbasket.

Couple this with the fires breaking out throughout the city and the lack of clean water, and I think we have figured out the problem.

Nobody has any respect whatsoever for Jackson, and I mean at any level.

That is all.

I lost respect for Jackson many years ago. The only reason I visit the city is work has a facility there, one or 2 restaurants in town (mostly Keifers), and MAYBE something like the rodeo at the fair grounds.
Otherwise, I stay out of the city of Jackson.

My advice? Neither the rodeo nor the fair are worth it. Go elsewhere.

The rodeo actually was worth it. It was really fun. And there were enough red necks in that place that I wasn't worried about anything but the truck getting broken into.

The fair on the other hand. It was bad when I was in college and that's when I quit going (20ish years ago). Don't think I have any reason (other than wanting my son to experience that too) to go to that event.

Kenneth Stokes for “Mare”
All joking aside, the best thing that happened to Jackson in recent past was Frank Melton & they killed him!
It was a dumpster fire before Frank & has gotten much worse since then.

And the Mayor says that Jackson is 'safe'.

From what?

It's safe from a Russian invasion because it is already a war zone.

Feb 23, 2022 published article in Forbes says it's pretty dangerous.
10 Most Dangerous Cities in the US (#1 is the highest cost of crime)

1. St. Louis, Missouri
2. Jackson, Mississippi
3. Detroit, Michigan
4. New Orleans, Louisiana
5. Baltimore, Maryland
6. Memphis, Tennessee
7. Cleveland, Ohio
8. Baton Rouge, Louisiana
9. Kansas City, Missouri
10. Shreveport, Louisiana

Along the same lines as some of these other threads and news items, I have a question for the DS brain trust.

It is very obvious that Ms. Anna Wolfe and Gov. Phil Bryant ain't exactly on each others Christmas Card List. But after all of this investigative reporting, indictments, law suits, etc. I would like to get your opinion.

Will Gov. Bryant face any charges in the MDHS scandal? What will happen to the ones who are indicted? Your thoughts?
