My Dede....
Alaska vacation July 15-23, 2021…………for my memory.

Landed in Anchorage, stayed 1 night, visited The bridge at Ship creek, where MANY tourists were wade fishing for salmon. Also viewed Campbell creek.

Cabin 4 days in Talkeetna: fished all local streams, Goose creek, Sheep Creek, Willow creek and landed some rainbow trouts and king salmon. Met many locals and dined twice at the Sheep Creek Lodge….Traveled up to Petersville sight seeing. Did Talkeetna Air Taxi to Denali National park and landed on Glacier where Max and Taylor got engaged. Dad and I did a guided fishing trip on the willow creek while Jim, Taylor, and Max did an ATV tour up in the mountains. Stopped in Wasilla at sportsman warehouse and ate halibut twice at the Last Frontier Brewing.

Airbnb House 2 days in Anchorage: travelled south on the Kenan peninsula to Whittier, a town accessible by 2-1/2 mile tunnel, all residents of that town live in the same building and it was cold there. Beautiful mountains the whole drive. Then next day we went to Seward, a small southern town on Resurrection Bay. We did a 3-1/2 hr wildlife cruise, viewed animals and icebergs. Saw Exit Glacier on the drive back. It rained all day and was cold too. Ate at the Salmon Bake for the freshest salmon and king crab.

Last day in Anchorage: spent the morning at the Alaska Zoo followed up by going to the ULU Factory and Ship Creek bridge again. Also, went to the local Hatchery and ship creek damn and got some amazing pics of king salmon in the stream. Got our souvenirs and headed to airport for the “red eye”
