Turkeys!

Postby missed mallards » Thu Mar 12, 2020 7:52 pm

Anyone else excited to chase some spring thunder?

I’m actually excited. Lost my lease and found some public birds that I can access. Come Monday I hope they’re still around!

Almost didn't because of the rain, but I did go listen this morning just cause I had time.
The fool was thundering in the rain. 15+ gobbles in the 5 minutes I sat at the gate. Cause that's all I needed to hear.

I am F-in PUMPED!!!

Well done MM, family first! Hope the kids at LeBonheur are on the mend and doing well soon. Good luck to all on the turkeys. I’m loading up to go fishing tomorrow and Monday.
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

Kid could use all the prayers he can find! Been a long ordeal and no answers yet so throw up a few when y’all can.

Monday it looks as though I’ll be dragging a very unhappy little girl across the woods! She loves to hike so maybe that’ll help matters. School cancelled for the week so I inherited a new hunting partner that isn’t all that excited.
