Ok. I'm not Catholic, but neither are a few of the other folks in my office. And several of them have given up something for Lent. My question is this,

What, if anything, have you given up for Lent?
Nobody owes you anything.

Bread.
And I swear I am going to sit down at the table with a glass of milk and a Bunny Plantation load on Easter. Maybe some butter. Not sure yet.

And BTW, it's not just Catholics that observe lent. The Episcopal church does to too.

We are Catholic light. All the alcohol, half the guilt.
