Governor election

I made a mistake that I am trying to clarify below

Who are y’all voting for, for governor this year? I haven’t got a clue.

I know Waller wants to change the flag

EDIT: I was wrong about this. It’s not Waller. Wanted to correct my original post also.

and I’m not for that. I hate to sound uninformed but that’s honestly about all I know of any of the R candidates.

Does anyone have any recommendations based on something you know a particular candidate stands for?

Maybe we could get some discussion going to help analyze all of the state elections coming up.

I like that Buck Clark for treasurer commercial where he says he’s been wearing that same jacket since 1975.

Right now I am supporting Waller although Foster is greatly intriguing to me. I am afraid the Tater Salad will win the nomination and we will be set up for four more years of piss poor roads and bridges due to his pissing match with MDOT.

I have met a lot of people who flat will NOT vote for Tate. From what they have told me, he only knows how to get elected. As for actually DOING something......

From what I have seen personally, Waller is probably the smartest person running - for any office, and from any party. He also has a proven track record of getting stuff done and doing the right thing. That's why he's got my vote.

Yeah, and I don't know that Waller wants to change the flag.

Seems like I heard him respond to that question with Phil Bryant's standard answer, that it should be put before the voters.

I just heard Waller speak for the second time about an hour ago. I cannot take him seriously. He gets up and shouts like a hellfire and brimstone pastor. Most of what I’ve heard him speak about were stories from the 70’s and early 80’s. He’s got a long row to hoe.

I’m not a single issue voter who is only concerned about preserving the state flag. I just don’t have a damn clue about where any of these folks stand on anything.

I’m a little embarrassed about making that confusion earlier and hope that thousands of people didn’t see this remark and get the wrong idea about a potential candidate based on something I said that was wrong.

My wife and I just saw a Tate commercial on tv and she asked who “we” were voting for.

I laughed and said i just ask my friends online that same question yesterday.

I like foster and being in north Mississippi I see more of him than y’all down south. But in reality he don’t have a shot I don’t think. I’ll have to go with Waller until someone steers me to a better option.

I'm for Waller. Tate just doesn't sit well with me. To ingrained into "The Establishment" and looks like a snake oil salesman
