Those non facebook folks are the only hope of keeping it alive
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

Re: Hello..... is this thing on???
I’m hoping this little absence will remind us what a cherished place this really is and we will keep it fun and lively going forward?
I would be in favor of having a sponsorship membership where you can choose to pay 25 or 50 bucks a year and get a gold star by your name or something corney like that.
Maybe instead of a gold star it could be a duck band by your name and if you want to pay the $50 membership it could be double banded?

Re: Hello..... is this thing on???
Holy sh*t bigs, you remembered me. I'm honored.
(And since I can't quote or else I'll get a wall-o-code:)
It's me,
"Greenheartd grim reaper"
But you spelled my handle wrong, so on 2nd thought, go frick yourself you som bitch.
No, I was told that there was an MSducks Facebook page (I'm not on that sh*t) with lots of inadmissible drama (by MSducks.com standards), and so I came by here to visit. I'd drop by once every 6 to 14 months or so for a gander, but when I last came here and found a wall-o-code saying that this place- this place that was once GROUND ZERO for internet drama and entertainment- had come and gone, I was bummed out.
Literally, I was bummed out- it felt like a part of me had come and gone; like that country song saying, "time marches on." This "dump" (As our dear gator used to phrase it. Speaking of which, where the hell is that old run down some bitch nowadays? I hope he is well.) is as much a part of me and of who I am as, say, 9-11 and titties are. Msducks, 9-11 and mammary glands= ghgr.
And I'm not ashamed of that. Specially the "mammary glands" part.
I'll never forget posting up my 1st topic centered around the "conflict" (as far as the trifling standards of a waterfowl forum go) of DU vs. DW and not being able to figure out why it hackled so many feathers. I mean, WTF?
GROUND ZERO for that juicy drama, we were.
Nowadays, it seems as though the question wouldn't raise an eyebrow on this desolate wasteland, but that's no reason to shut this OG down.
Many forums that survived the onslaught of the social media "cleansing" are thriving. What this place needs is a good old grassroots effort to see an uptick of activity (and maybe an IT guy to fix this ratchet ass setup we got): Do away with all the rules of public land talk, etc., and point some folks (via social media) towards the site with the promise of hot tips and tricks and lots of controversy (like we used to have) and we would maybe see a renaissance.
Or maybe not. It still wouldn't be the same- it never is. There's a time and place for everything, and all good things must come to end.
But I'm not a quitter, and even if you are, I need some GPS coordinates, so dammit, let's tighten up boys!
Long live one of the OG's of internet controversy, especially regarding duck hunting topics: MSDUCKS.COM.
We did it boys. Po out a drank for the homies.
I'll go to my grave remembering how quickly and effortlessly I could type these letters into my browser:
EM. ESS. DUCKS. DOT. COM.
You sons a bitches!

Re: Hello..... is this thing on???
^^^^Whew! Glad you're back!^^^^
The possibility of us getting into serious conversations on this here interwebs site makes this THE place that we all know and love.
Now, about those GPS coordinates. I hear there are ducks at North 35 degrees, 8 minutes, 33.511 seconds / West 90 degrees, 3 minutes, 7.14 Seconds. But I don't suggest you pull out your old Olt Cutdown there. That might upset the ladies having brunch at the Peabody.

Dagumit!! We still can’t quote. Anyway I was trying to quote savethehens above.
This was definitely my first internet addiction. I used to spend hours here each day. That reminds me, I’m going to see if I can bump up something from days gone by....

Re: Hello..... is this thing on???
I think i figured out the SQL error on quoting. It happens anytime you use the "[" marks. So quotes, bold, italic, underline, images, URL, etc.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)
