MDWFP Commission

Alright boys and girls your about to hear Peewee's thoughts for the day:
No need to beat around the bush. I am sure our Commissioners are fine men. But it dumbfounds me when we have lawyers, editors, and bankers as the decision makers for our states natural resources. I pulled this right off the MDWFP website.
Quote:
The Mississippi Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is composed of five persons appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate, for a term of five years.
One Commissioner is appointed from each of the five (5) Congressional Districts as they existed prior to 2000.
I know a many of fine men and women whom are actually QUALIFIED with academic and real world experience credentials who could lead our great state in making sound decisions. It is a shame that our elected politicians use these positions for political gain.
