Aged at between 3.8 and 4.3 billion years old, the Nuvvuagittuq Supracrustal Belt is some of the oldest rock in the world. Once deep under water and adjacent to hydrothermal vents, they have yielded something interesting.
The oldest fossils on earth, pushing back life to over 3.8 billion years ago.
