Buffer/screen between highway and camp

Postby mshunter77 » Mon May 28, 2018 3:06 pm

Looking for recommendations for something to plant as a buffer/screen between campsite and highway. Anybody have any good ideas or experience with this? Maybe cedars?

Alamo Switchgrass or Giant Miscanthus (if available to the public) I know it's been in the research phases for biofuels for several years now.

Green giant or hybrid willow are considered fast growing. Not sure of their cost.

elaeagnus works pretty well. It can grow into a big hedgerow (10'+), especially if you put some fertilizer to it.
