Install OME tilt/trim unit anyone?

I know everyone usually goes the CMC route, but was wondering if anyone had ever converted a manual tilt to a factory tilt/trim unit. About to by a new (to me) rig with a 2016 Yamaha 40 on it. I wouldn't have thought in this day that they would still sell a 40 horse without tilt/trim, but they do. Has anyone ever installed the factory tilt and trim to a motor before? Was wanting to do it this way so I could add a break-away plate also. Thanks in advance for the help.
