Camper Spots for Lease

Postby 420 racin » Tue Apr 25, 2017 8:26 am

Question for you guys. What would be the demand for some camper spots for rent/lease in the Satartia are? Either by the weekend, week, month, year, .... Trying to see what the interest would be in something like that, cause I know there aren't many places to stay around that area. Also, what would be a good price, for a spot that has water, power and sewer hookups?

Judging by the oil field/mini Talladega camper city at the Lake George store, I would say a lot. That being said, I wouldn't want all that goes on in there anywhere some place I owned.

Yeah, I aint talking about a whole bunch of folks like that. I'm talking about like about 1 camp site for 1/2 acre or so kinda secluded, maybe like about 5 or 6 campers. I may be coming into a small portion of land around that area and don't really have a need or use for a small acerage like it is, and was exploring the idea of doing something to maybe at least pay the taxes on it or something.

If there are any houses nearby, you may see if the homeowners want to buy it from you first. I would be kinda miffed if my neighbor put in a RV lot next to me. Just saying.

In Holly Bluff there is a pad next to a home just before intersection that had a camper on it year before last, did not see it this year, might want to check with that family. Don't have a name just know the spot.... Check with Mr. Mooney on Spanish Fort Road. he rents spots, that where I stays

I might be interested. What would it come with? Power, water hookup? Any idea of what the price may be? If not too bad, I might consider leaving all year round.

Jeremy I'm thinking 800-1000 for a yearly spot. If you did it just during hunting season probably just rent on a monthly basis ~$200 a month
