Grand Isle fishing charter

Postby mshunter77 » Thu Mar 09, 2017 8:38 pm

My wife's family always does a trip to Grand Isle the first week of June and does some bank/pier fishing. I have gone the past two years and have had zero luck besides sharks and hard heads. So was looking at charters are $600 for two people and goes up. Seems a little steep but is the going rate. Anyways anybody know someone they reccomend or maybe somebody that would be cheaper?

$600 for two people is pretty average down there. Can save a little fishing out of Leeville, but that is about a 20-30 minute drive up the road. Captain Bob Gourgues goes out of Boudreaux Inn in Leeville. Believe he charges $500 for two people, but that includes a room. Could call and see what he would charge without staying the night. He mainly fishes the marshes around Leeville and is always on fish.

Or out of Grand Isle, Captain Anthony Buquoi will put you on fish. $600 for two people including everything but food and drink. 3 people is $700 and 4 is $800.
