About %90 of the ducks I see die are on public land or free lance. It comes down to how hard you work for it and want it.

We had enough cold pushes to get the ducks down, just got to find em.

A Development Director raises money for said organization.

Raise several hundred thousand dollars for Waterfowl conservation and I'll get you on a duck hunt at Irby.

Ask crackhead, he knows what it takes for us to put up a 10.

Now I remember why I don't post much anymore. I knew I should of said 4.......

my two boys(13 and 10) and I hunted 38 days and averaged 7.5 ducks per trip. I give it a five. Teal season my older boy and I limited every hunt my younger boy limited 3 of the 5 trips he made. We killed 136 blue wings out of my blind it was THE BEST teal season Ive ever had

I'd give mine a 8 overall as far as sheer body count with a good handful of 10+ hunts. Got to hunt three of my favorites this year. The infamous GLHC, the scatters and the metro. All which produced. My current band streak of four years was broke so that knocked the number down a point. Cheers to the 2017-2018 season. It's just around the corner.

I hunted with many family members, as well as old friends and new friends.. I was fortunate enough to go lots of times, including Christmas morning. The dogs did great and were indispensable for low-water, deep-mud cypress brakes - not places where you want to make wading retrieves. We killed the usual species and also got specklebellies, snows, canvasback, pintails and bluewing teal, which are trophies in our habitat. We had some of the usual equipment malfunctions, but not too bad. There was plenty of good food and drink and many logs burned in the fireplace. Some seasons we kill more than others, but I consider them all a 10. So, 10!

Didn't get to hunt as much this year as in years past but there were always ducks around to be shot. Scouted more this year than I've ever had to but it helped tremendously towards the end of the season.

Very slow in the South Delta. It has gotten to the point that where I am debating is it worth even spending $$$ on ducks anymore. I would rate it a 2, and it would be < 1 if there wasn't wood ducks to shoot. I had more fun chasing squirrels than I did ducks, that's no BS.

I'll give it a 3. Not for any reason other than I had to work out of town 3 last 4 weeks of season. So I only got to hunt once in the month of January.
