I'm still in shock. Ronnie was a great person and it was a privilege to know him. That last morning of season will be burned even deeper into my memories now. He was taken way too soon. Rest in peace my friend.

Although I never met Ronnie in person, we spoke several times over the phone throughout the years. We spoke of fishing down here on the Coast and "what not", but more importantly he offered me a job once when I was in need of a change. He was wanting to grow his business to the Coast, but I was a little apprehensive about my computer knowledge. I decided that I was going to stay where I was, mainly from his encouragement; and I survived a little rough patch with his help. I am grateful to him for that opportunity back then, and I'm certain he really didn't know how much he helped me just through our conversations and his positive attitude. I'm sorry I never had the chance to meet him in person.
God bless his family during this terrible time. I will keep them in my prayers as they attempt to pick up the pieces from this tragic day.

And Ronnie, thanks for being there for me when I just needed some encouragement.
