i was given an early 1980's honda riding mower that belonged to my grandfather. looks something like this-
it appears to be in really good shape and the engine will crank and run without a problem. the problem i am having is with the transmission. I suspect the transmission has not ever been serviced and i would like to get it back in working order.
I am in vicksburg and would like recommendations for a lawn mower decent mechanic in central Ms/lower delta area that might can get it back to working right.
thanks in advance

Don't know if you've gotten it done already or not, but Andrew Hitchcock at Fondren Small Engine repair could probably do you good on this. Don't know what he'd charge, but he's honest.
Nobody owes you anything.

I have used Minerva's on US 49S and they have done good and economical work. 6019366711
