How well is the seller protected on transactions thru eBay? I'm selling a triathlon bike on there and I'm wondering about credit card fraud. Don't want to lose my bike and not get my money.

It's fine. Sell the bike. Only ship to verified addresses, which means the address has been associated with the payment method being used.
