Blaze orange legality question

If I wear a pair of blaze orange bibs with jacket etc tucked under it, will this qualify as the required hunter orange law? Or does it have to be a vest?

I still hunt a lot and I can't find a good quality blaze vest that's quiet, not made in China and has plenty of securely-closed pocket for the stuff I carry with me. I bought the primos gun hunter vest, and while it's a good concept, it's a junk product that's falling apart after 1 season. Plus it's loud.

If I could wear bibs, I can go around having a vest blocking access my coat pockets. Plus, it seems to me like it'd be even more orange than a vest, which would be a plus on public land.

I'd say yes to your question - just has to be 500 sq in solid orange.

But - Primos used to make a blaze vest out of very soft durable material with tons of pockets. So much that I quit carrying a pack. Was about $50.

I'll have to check and see if I can find it.

My vest is missing most buttons, zippers are hung up or not working altogether, one of the main front cargo pockets came un stitched and is now useless, etc. Piece of crap.
