Pokemon Go on WMA's

Postby Don Miller » Tue Aug 02, 2016 11:58 am

I know the thought of this seems silly but what's to keep this from happening on a public use area? Wouldn't Pokemon Go players have the same right of use? I'm not sure you could use the hunter harassment laws because the Pokemoners are just enjoying the public use differently. Is there actually any law in place that could stop Pokemon Go on WMA's? If not, I predict this will be the next craze. If not Pokemon, a duck or deer hunt senecio.
Thoughts?????

What about boat traffic to catch a Pokemon in the Stump Hole?

They'll need to purchase a WMA permit, but I figure the Pokemon doofus will be clueless.

Theoretically, anyone with a WMA permit can birdwatch or hunt hippopotamus with a sharp stick if they so desire.

Scouting may be regulated to certain days etc, but not bird watching.
Them ducks is wary. We now resume our regularly scheduled forum melee in progress.

I firmly believe this is the greatest natural selection tool ever introduced.

Those pussies aren't going to wander into no swamp to catch a pokemon...

I have a set of books " The Darwin Awards" they are a collection of stories of people removing themselves from the gene pool, through any number of stupid or illegal acts. I believe Pokemon Go and other
similar augmented reality games will allow another book to be added to the series.

I ain't gonna hide it. I play the game. I will be one of them playing in the boat on the way to he hole and then even in the hole. 75% of the time there are no ducks flying. Now I'm not stupid and gonna walk around off the regular trail I go in on or my normal route. I think they shouldn't be allowed to just go on the wma or any public land to just play but u will have them hunters that after they get done hunting they are gonna be trampling through the woods. It's not just kids playing it either. I've seen 50 year olds playing it and even older.

It's defiantly a game that is going to wein out the stupid ones. Aka walking on the interstate in Brandon and jumping fences.

So ok I'm ready for the name calling cause I know it's coming :D

I've seen pics of WMA cards already that have Pokemon hunting marked on the back.

I bet they won't be at DNF for long once rifle opens. :D
