I have a pair of the Cabela's gloves. They are really warm and windproof which is great for boat rides, but 100 % waterproof, they are NOT. I don't think there is a glove that is 100% waterproof.

I have some Cabela's too. About as good as you can get for duck hunting gloves. They're mostly waterproof but do absorb some water. I have a pair of Columbia gloves from a couple years ago that are totally waterproof but they're big & bulky so I really only use them for boat rides or extremely cold temps.

As far as a waterproof glove goes... well this guy wrote a good article I found googling "waterproof gloves" one night. I couldn't have said it better myself:

But these look pretty sweet for some waterproof'iness protection, and the ability to stop Winchester HV #6's with your hand (this is a must at Noxubee Refuge since the newbies have taken over and "fixed" the new-but-old flooded timber holes. Nowadays, you have the privilege of being able to speak to neighboring hunters using your politically correct "inside" voice.")

However, I still believe wool is hard to beat. I can buy these at the army/navy store for $2. They can be sopping wet and caked in mud to beyond recognition; when I pick them up in said condition, within 5 minutes, my hands go from miserably cold back to functioning. In 10 minutes, my hands are warm. God knew what he was doing when he made wool. We cannot improve upon it, and it is the only material on the planet that can be sopping wet and still keep me warm. The good thing about these in gloves (among many) is that they still allow some dexterity, and they certainly allow shooting. Their only downside is that they can be slick on some guns. But if you have a fancy gun with some traction coating to it, there are no issues:

ghgr, never thought I'd see somebody try to turn a duck hunt into a dove field experience. I have seen it now. What a cluster......
