Reloading 12ga Shells

Postby bustercat64 » Thu Jul 07, 2016 1:42 pm

I am looking for someone to reload some steel shot for me for duck hunting. I have the set up for lead but all I want is a box of shells loaded and was wondering if anyone on here did this. My hunting partner of the past 11 years crossed the bridge yesterday and I had her cremated and I am wanting to put ashes in some shells.

In order to change to steel you have to change the shot bar and all the crimp stations if you are doing 3in. If you are only doing a box the best (cheapest) thing to do would be to run you hull through the first 3 stations (primer, powder and wad) and hand pour the steel shot/ashes. Then run through the crimp stations. I don't know anyone that has a set up for 3in but for what you are doing 2 3/4 should be fine.
