I can imagine 1.5 acres is a tough sell to a pulp wooder. Especially if some of it has beetles.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Teul is right. Tough sell. Try to find another nearby logging job and see if you can "piggyback" off that sale. Nobody going to move far for that amount. Good luck.

That is what I have found out we have been trying for 2 years to get it cut. We thought we had someone that we could piggy back off of but the other sale fell through.

have you tried giving the wood away? or is that not an option? may could give them the wood, and get a road reworked in exchange? or even a small clearing done.

Last year I couldn't even give away 6 loads of Pine Chip-n-Saw that I already had down, topped, and bunched up. Ended up having to burn it. As low as the pulpwood prices are I doubt you will get anyone to come get it...If you do send me the guys information, cause I can use a guy that will come and get small tracts, I have a few for sale or will be coming up for sale. Just got a 20 acre tract sold after 8 months of advertising and we are cutting about 80MBF of hardwood logs. Had a hard time getting bids on it....too small of a tract

Good luck
