Time to hunt rocks

Postby tica-tica » Wed Apr 27, 2016 11:29 am

Hey the ground is turned and the rain is coming. Anybody hunting arrowheads?
Here is a video I just made of some of the rocks I found in March/April. Cheers.

I love to hunt for arrowheads. With this rain coming, I have plans to hit a good field in the next few days - after several years of no-till, it was recently disked and should be productive.

I know what you mean. Many fields here are no till or in winter wheat. They cut that winter wheat and drill in soy beans in the stubble so they never turn the ground. You just have to remember the spots and keep an eye on them. Some are no till for a couple years but they do plow after awhile.

Good luck. Hope you find a bunch.
