my club has bought 3 pits for this year, and having never had them before, are curious what the best gas or electric pumps are for pumping them out at the beginning of the season.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

A boat bilge pump and 12v battery would work if you have a few hours to kill.

I use a slump pump or whatever they are called. Usually people have them in their basements when water gets in and use them to pump out. Lowes sells them
Hook it up to my small generator and it'll dump a full put in matter of 10 minutes. Mines uses a 2in hose on it also, not sure the gallons per minute

2.5" gas powered sump pump. Anything else and you're just wasting time.
