a Friend of mine here in forest can get you a smoking deal on a pole barn.

He buys old chicken houses and takes them down and builds hay barns and all types of buildings.

He will re-use the old trusses and some lumber but can put you all new metal on the sides - really he can do what ever you need - he is originally from cuba and has some of the fastest working guys I have ever seen.

He doesn't do the concrete - but has another guy that does is.

if your interested in talking to him - let me know and I will give you his number.

Matt, Danny Skipper builds Metal Buildings. He is a Crossway member and lives on Tucker Road. I believe his business name is Skipper Construction.

I'm looking at a a 30'X40', 1 roll up door, 1 walk through door, and a 20'x12' lean to on one side. prices range from $14,500 to $21,000 (includes concrete). I'm waiting on one other guy to call me back before I pull the trigger. This is for an enclosed pole barn, not anything fancy.

Keep us updated. We are about to build one that is 20x60 under roof but only 20x36 of it walled in with 24 ft open under one end. We need a roll up door and two other entrance doors. We are going to build it by Lake Chotard. If you find a good builder and price, run it by them that they may get two jobs out of it.

dukhntn,
What did you ever do? And, if you don't mind me asking, what did it cost you.
I am looking at a 30x60 slab, 20x40 building with wrap around porch on 3 sides. But I may make it a little bigger as I know I'll fill this up quick.

Edit:
After re-reading a bunch of posts on here, I have already increased my size. 20x50 with 30x70 slab / under roof. I decided I want four (4) 12ft wide doors. Will probably go 14ft sides. But may back down to 12ft depending on cost.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Rebel Duck - what size building did you build? Got a buddy looking at a 75x100 farm shop. Thanks
