Best blind bag?

Postby Greenhead329 » Fri Jan 08, 2016 12:04 am

Little late in the season, I know but I'm already gearing up for next year . Need a recommendation for a good blind bag. Bought one last year thinking I'd love it as truly waterproof... However the top won't stay shut which means my crap gets thrown from here to kingdom come and meets Davey Jones

PS... If any one says drake blind bags... I know you've never used one

I guess I have the opposite of a lemon, my drake bag has been good the past 4-5 seasons after an old Avery I had gave it up.

I got a northern flight backpack bag from cabelas. It has done really well. I like the backpack straps and the main storage compartment.

I have a northern flight, floatable bag from cabellas with a hard bottom. Just started using it this year, but the hard bottom is nice in pits, boats, etc... Haven't dunked it yet but I like it

I have a Drake shell bag I use when I need to go in light or in timber, and it's been great.

I use a Higdon bag for most boat, pit or blind hunts and it's great. Roomy enough for everything, and zips up tight.

I've got an old mad dog gear bag that's at least 8 years old. Rigid and floats. Shows no sign of ever wearing out. Don't know if they even make them any more.
