rv parks near jackson, ms

Postby bluh » Tue Jan 05, 2016 9:23 pm

I'm about to be doing some work up in the Jackson area. Just curious if any locals might have some information on any decent RV parks/campgrounds in that area preferably south Jackson near the Byram area although anything within 40 minutes would be good enough. I appreciate the help.

There's one in Byram, Swinging Bridge RV Park or Resort maybe. I can't speak on how great it is as I've never been through so you may want to do a little google search on it. I want to say there's one in Clinton, as well, which is only a few miles west of Jackson. Not sure about that one either but those may give you a start.

The byram one is ok, but there is a shooting range next door so call it a plus or a minus depending on how much sleep you want in your off time. Also when the wind is right, you get to smell the dog food processing plant; its a lovely smell in july.
