QUESTIONS FOR WINGMAN

Postby WUEAGLE13 » Mon Dec 21, 2015 4:26 pm

I know this has been addressed before but i have several ... i will do true or false

1. More of a statement - true or false, I can hunt under the reciprocal agreement in Arkansas if i can get there by boat even if Arkansas season is closed (I SAY FALSE) but some of my boys don't agree

2. Tagging Birds - if i give birds away, they MUST be tagged under any circumstance (I SAY TRUE) ... If i am hunting in a group in transit and we are coming in from our spot, ducks do not have to be tagged as long as each person has their 6 (i say TRUE) and finally, If i am hunting out of a boat and cross over state lines legally, my birds have to be tagged because i am crossing state lines (i say false)

3. can a hunter carry more than 1 weapon (10 and 12 gauge) on the same hunt? I say yes ..... if yes is right, can both guns be loaded at the same time (i say no)

these are a few i have been asked lately
Formerly GREENHEAD ... But I got locked out .... BUT NOW I AM BACK ...

I know I'm not wingman, but Here is the answer to number 3. No mention of multiple guns, so it's not expressly illegal.

number one is false. If AR season is closed you can NOT hunt there legally.

I agree with you hound but some of my "hard headed" buddies needed a reminder

I am curious about an above post though about hunting below the water line, could that technically not be considered a pit?

The key point on the reciprocal agreement is that you are inside the levees. You can't take off 20 miles up the Arkansas river and be legal with a MS License.

If their season is closed.....you definitely can't hunt in AR waters. I know a guy that got some hefty fines doing it. He didn't pay attention to the fact that their season had closed that year on a weekend that MS was open.
