So, ask me again why I have openly scoffed at the on-line "dog food advice" websites for years.....they always assume that the dog food that 99% of us feed or lying about their ingredients, and they always assume that blue Buffalo and the other "super premium" dog food makers have been telling the truth. Oops.

" -- Blue Buffalo agreed on Thursday to pay $32 million to settle mutlidistrict litigation in Missouri filed by consumers accusing the pet food maker of lying about the ingredients in its kibble..."

I went through all the grain free to try to find one where my dog wouldn't scratch out all his fur on his belly. Taste of the Wild is the one he can do. $42 for a bag off Amazon, and he goes through a bag a month. If you can't afford $42 a month, you cant afford a dog. Beats the Walmart stuff where he had the mange.

I did the BB thing about 4 years ago for a few months. My lab kept an ear infection and meds would only make it better while he was on it. We switched to BB as a test for the vet and his ears cleared up. It may have been coincidence but it cleared up. Now we went back to Pro Plan after that and he hasnt had an issue yet so may not have been the grain allergy after all.

I feed a rice and fish food from sportsmix. Its about 36 bucks a 40 and cleared up all the ear and skin problems in my dogs.

I've been feeding the Tractor Supply brand (4 Health) the last few years and it's been good. If my dog gets food with corn in it he'll lick his feet till they nearly mold. The 4 Health doesn't have grains in it like Purina. I fed Nutro for a while but after back-to-back recalls I gave up on that.

I caught mine eating cat crap out of the litter box the other day, and his bowl was full of food. Does anybody know of a good brand dog food in "Cat Crap" flavor?

My English bulldog ate about half my kids hungry hungry hippo balls that go with the game. My yard is now littered with little red an white pieces from said balls. He also ate a wash cloth and various other items left on the floor.

I feed all 3 of my dogs fromm being that 1 of my wiemers is allergic to chicken and it is one of the few that I found that has a chicken free food been happy so far it's a little pricey for 3 dogs but well worth it to me plus I get a free bag for every 12 bags I buy from Hollywood feed
