My mom and daughter go a lot and each trip is different. They usually rest some in the hottest part of the day and stay out late. If you take one piece of advice, do the late night Mickey Late Night Christmas party. It is their favorite thing to do.

Don't pass up the beer carts and don't think about how much they cost.

Also, the jalapeno and cheese pretzels have to be laced with crack.

All rides lead to a gift shop...

We just got back it's awesome!

Advice: pay the $200 bucks for the memory maker picture pkg...they have professional photographers all over...take a pic scan your band and your off...plus this gets all of you in the pics.

Pay for the memory maker. Well worth it!!!!!

Meatloaf at Wolfgang Puck in Downtown Disney is the shiznit and is part of the Dining plan.

Do the disney dining plan. Well worth it and make your reservations for the character dining. This saves you from having to wait in line in the park to meet the characters.

The autograph books are neat, but we saw someone doing an picture frame border for the autographs. Pretty neat idea and I see that lasting longer then the autograph book.

If your staying on the ground, use the bus. Learn the routes as buses don't go directly to a place, especially downtown disney. You will have to jump buses, but once you learn the ropes it is smooth sailing. Sure beats driving and having to find parking. You can take a bus from one resort to another that is on the monorail and then take the monorail to the magic kingdom.

Don't buy the gifts at the park. Go to a walmart and rack up on gifts at 1/3 the price for the EXACT same stuff.

I don't drink beer, but the drink around the world would have been fun.

Fireworks at Epcot are awesome, make sure to go at least once.

MY BIGGEST SUGGESTION: DON'T TRY TO SEE EVERYTHING. Yall will get worn out. Take yall time and go back another year.

Crystal Palace has good food (dining plan place).

Soaring was awesome!!! Certainly fastpass it.

Tower of Terror was awesome.

Again, purchase the Memory Maker!!

Mentally prepare yourself for lines & waiting. Reservations & fast passes curb some of the waiting so use them when you can. Also be prepared for crowds. Disney has perfected the art of cramming people into a small space & concealing lines of waiting people. There is no personal space.

Don't know if they still do "magic hours" where certain parks open early or stay open late. My personal take on these follows. Skip the early opening parks & go elsewhere. People flock to the park to take atvantage of the extra time thus assuring more time spent in line. If your kids can handle late nights then be sure to go to the after closing hours. Parents with young children typically are worn out & don't stay late. So the crowds are reduced.

Also another thing, if someone has to stay with a kid that can't ride, they will offer vouchers to come back to front so other adult can ride. Not sure what they are called but ask for them.

Get to whichever park you are going to that day 45 minutes before opening time. When it opens you should be able to head straight for a couple of rides and get them knocked out before the crowd gets there. Stay in parks till around lunch then go back and take a nap and come back after supper.
