When the gunner kennels first came out I saw a video where the guy placed multiple different plastic dog kennels in his driveway in the summer heat to test the temperature on the inside. Using a laser thermometer he had the surface temperature of the driveway around 110 degrees. Each of the cheaper kennels were actually hotter than the temperature of the driveway. If i remember correctly the Gunner was in the high 80s.

I can't for the life of me find that video now, but it wasn't made by the Gunner Kennel people. That video alone made me very interested in the purchasing one and probably will in the near future.

I have a friend who is a breeder/trainer and also is a dealer for Gunner. He's pretty demanding of his gear but sings high praises of these kennels. I've looked at his and they appear to be extremely well engineered. His opinion - they don't heat up as bad as RuffTuff.

No financial interest, but they do look well done.
