Not only is it dry, but up here in Tunica it's all dirt. Farmers have disked up EVERYTHING after harvest. Someone please answer- ever had any luck over a disked bean field?

Yes it is, it's dry everywhere. Food plot Seed distributors will make a killing this year due to all the replanting that will take place. Well check that thought, with the amount of corn bags I see on the side if the road they may not plant at all.

I have been stomping around the delta all my life and only seen it this dry maybe once or twice before.
There are sloughs that have always been wet...................i can drive my truck thru most of them now.
Its gonna take a LOT of rain to get us back to good soil moisture, much less flooding for ducks.
Its gonna be a hill pond duck season!!!

You ought to see DNF. You can go anywhere you want to go right now. I walked a half mile through a slough bottom last Friday. Never found a mud hole.

Planted remaining food plots (i.e., fed turkeys) this past weekend in a traditionally swampy areas. It was like driving the tractor is a field of baby powder it was so dry. Never seen anything like it. We have had no appreciable rain since the end of June.

There appears to be some sort of small liquid droplets falling from the heavens. Not sure what that is. I will investigate and get back with you.
Its falling slow right now in Gwood............it needs to do this for about a week........real slow to catch it all.
