Finally found some bottomland

Postby gps4 » Wed Sep 23, 2015 7:54 pm

We took a long weekend and went to gulf shores ahead of my boy's soccer tournament. Instead of baking at the beach all day, I decided to take a ride back up to foley to check out the Coleman outlet. When I get out my vehicle, I noticed a mossy oak outlet behind the Coleman store.

I hardly ever buy new camo, but I headed on over, not expecting to find anything I just had to have. While browsing the racks, I came across one that was loaded down with as close to original bottomland as I've seen in years. Cotton six pocket pants and heavy duty cotton long sleeve button down two pocket shirts. Could not resist it. Can wait for opening day of bow season. May not see a thing or draw down on anything, but I'm sure it will take me back to yesteryear.

An added bonus is that the legs on the pants are about 6" too long. When I get them hemmed, the scraps will make damn fine patches for the 30 yr old flannel original bottomland jacket I have that's wearing holes.

as far as I am concerned they got it right from the start. I still wear some cotton pants like this and I still have a chamois cloth shirt in that pattern. wish I had more
There will be a day....

If I had the money on hand, I would have bought them out

Mossy Oak store in West Point had a lot of it 2 weeks ago and even had it side by side to compare with the new bottomland pattern they have. FYI the old stuff looks much better imo.
