Found these in the closet this morning. Bet I've had them over 10 yrs or more. Wonder what they're worth ...... brand new.

When it come's to duck calling and duck killing its the indian not the arrow!
Re: Mcalister gear
What's with the overpriced `old` McAlister gear? Filson much better new, for close to same price.....
Re: Mcalister gear
It's really the shell vest that's gone crazy. Coats wise the early mcalister stuff is good. But when drake bought the line it went downhill quick.

Re: Mcalister gear
Drake screwed everything up. I love my filson wouldn't trade it for anything. I hear harrell & sons is going to producing a nice vest.
Re: Mcalister gear
just got my shelter cloth waterfowl coat, Hope I am gonna like it, it was a little thinner than I anticipated. Finally had to see what all the hype was bout. It was time for a new coat anyway. Lost #136 lbs. my old stuff was just a tad to big.
Re: Mcalister gear
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Re: Mcalister gear
The Filson waterfowl was too light for my tasteand was snap front instead zipper. The one I liked best features-wise only came in tan. Going to miss the front load and around back game pockets, but the green tin ought to do the trick.

My name came out of the hat for one of the first run bags. It is solid and I'd recommend it. I also have Filson gear. The quality is comparable. The H&S bags are $155 + s&h.
Never assume.

I've got two Filson Waterfowl/Upland jackets that I love. I also have a bunch of other filson products (bags, overalls, pants) and they are all solid. Also have a Barbour jacket but more for wearing around town, camp and such. Don't really wear it hunting. Can't go wrong with either brand
