Not to Hijack this thread, but what are the rules regarding hunting near a powerline. Say a powerline that runs through a private field, not down the side of the road, but out across the pasture? Can you hunt under/around it?

Pm pfuller on here. I think he did the permit for that same one in Panola county a few years ago.

KIDD has a field they have hunted for years with a power line through the middle of it.

Well since I got such an overwhelming response from everyone on here, I called MDWFP...it is perfectly legal to hunt a powerline as long as it isn't along the road ROW and such

This is not the same area they hunted last year. They did hunt this area the year before, but, was laid out a little differently. After the first day or two...forget about it. I wont buy another as my yute aint anymore and never did kill $100 worth of doves
