Another weekend off working on the dam@ blind, but its coming along.
Saturday

Sunday after it again ready for a roof. PS I hate duck hunters all of em. Well maybe not all, but more than I like for sure. Everybody loves to hunt, but nobody likes lifting these heavy boards. Millet is coming along good though.

Can you imagine the thunder when all 15 guns open up at a Gadwall cruising through at 20K feet....

That's an impressive structure. I am interested in how you guys brush that monster in to the surrounding environment.

Oak, lots and lots of oak. Will take the square panel wire and tack it to the blind. Then hang all of the brush = pain the in the butt. After it is all hung we will go back in a week and fill any gaps, then we will start laying on the big limbs to break it up.

Pic below is a 32ft blind in our timber hole.

What do you do when you have 3 days off work, dove season is open, and it's hotter than a Mexican burrito? You work.

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

Finish painting, build benches, and boat area steps, and put on the tin. Then its time to brush.
