One more question, do you guys use your winch a lot? Did you get dealer to put it on or did you buy later and put it on yourself?

Used the winch on my gator 2 or three times. I put it on my self.

Just got the year end closeout email from Brookhaven Honda. The 2016's are on the way so it's time to buy a 15 now.

Dealer put mine on. They didn't have the warn I wanted in stock so I went with a kfi 4500 with synthetic rope. I have already used it twice.

Teul

How well do you like the Gator? Me and my dad are considering getting one. We would be interested in the single cab model.
Any problems/dislikes?

Only problem I have really had was the belt housing breather / snorkel thing. It is not secured to the housing as well as I like. I fixed that with a rubber pipe fitting though.
Been stuck once in a moist soil unit that was not as dry as it should have been. Otherwise, it has done everything I have wanted it to. But I am not out mud riding and really pushing it either. Just honest hunting and work.

I would recommend them (the 825i anyway).

well I changed my mind, went with the 700 pioneer 2 seater. mostly because of dependability and Honda was a little smaller making it easier to maneuver thru the woods and a heck of alot quieter. Put the winch on myself, put on stick stoppers, gotta get a front windshield, got a rear fabric panel to help with dust, and put a snorkel kit on it to help keep dust out of motor. then i am done. no more mods , well maybe better tires after my boy wears these down. I will warn y'all, the receiver is a joke. I tore mine off using a ground hog max disc. gone have that beefed up by a welder tomorrow.
