one thing i did forget to mention is that it benefited me greatly to run cat5e rj45 drops to each room with a TV. I get a lot less lag than i previously did using wireless on 3+ devices. Wireless routers can get saturated when multiple devices are utilizing them in a heavy manner regardless of what their speed ratings proclaim.

Another way to improve the network performance is to utilize QoS features to prioritize network traffic for video streaming. There are several hot to's on this subject if you Google it.

Sling TV is available on the Roku 3. I added it last night but haven't signed up yet.

I have the DD-WRT firmware download on my computer but I've been afraid to pull the trigger.

Is this the router you're talking about?

http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Router-AC ... ar+R6300v2

I just found this program a minute ago and it looks cool: https://www.glasswire.com/
Not sure if similar info is provided with newer router interfaces but this would help me pinpoint where my data is going.

For those asking about antennas - I'll post my set up when I get back home on Monday (waiting on the Boss so we can get on the road).

Genesis
ICEMovies
ProjectfreeTV
