Financial Collapse - Fall 2015?

Postby Deltamud77 » Mon Jun 29, 2015 10:13 am

As you guys may have seen this morning, the country of Greece is basically is a full scale economic collapse...banks are closed and things have the potential to spiral very quickly out of control.

There has been a financial collapse almost every 7 years for quite some time in the United States. In 2001, 9/11 happened. The markets were shut down the remainder of the week and opened on 9/17/01. One of the largest financial collapses in history hit the markets that day and the weeks following.

In September/October of 2008, we saw the greatest financial collapse in the United States since the Great Depression causing the US government to effectively print money to keep the entire system from imploding.

The stock market is at an all-time high right now, but Americans are earning less per household than this time 7 years ago, there are fewer people in the work force than at any time in four decades, household and sovereign debt is higher than it has every been and the economies in Europe are on the brink of collapse.

Anyone think we are about to see another 7 year collapse? I am beginning to think we are.

And THIS is exactly why I say that you should keep the following three things up to date and positive in your life - in order:

1 your Bible reading
2 your bank book
3 your diary/journal
Nobody owes you anything.

If Europe or China (currently in a bear market taking hits left and right from their over inflation) goes south can we use our debt to them to erase some of our deficit? If they can't collect do we still owe?? I'm sure it's more complicated than that just wondering.

It's called the Shemita or Shmita. It happened in 2001, 2008, and now 2015 is the next. Scoff if you want, but I'm prepared in more ways than one...

Quote from Harvard Business Review:

"Five years after the official end of the Great Recession, corporate profits are high, and the stock market is booming. Yet most Americans are not sharing in the recovery. While the top 0.1% of income recipients—which include most of the highest-ranking corporate executives—reap almost all the income gains, good jobs keep disappearing, and new employment opportunities tend to be insecure and underpaid. Corporate profitability is not translating into widespread economic prosperity."

TL;DR - We have less to lose if there is a crash. It will mostly soak the rich.

What scares me is the countrys debt to assets balance. We have been printing money like crazy with no correlative rise in productivity...started spiking in 2007.

As to financial collapse and the health of the nation, the government reported that the unemployment rate dropped to 5.3%, with great pride. What they did not highlight is that over 92 million US citizens are currently not in the US workforce....the most since 1977.

We are living in the Twilight Zone. Think about, it is legal for gays to marry (and you discriminate if you disagree with it), black lives matter more than other lives (unless they kill each other), success is considered a sign of criminality and you didn't earn what you have, there is widespread spying by our government on the people (probably including this message board) and none of the liberals so against the Patriot Act under Bush have anything bad to say about it, the IRS targets conservatives, the Whitehouse targets the press, guns are bad but marijuana and abortion are good, police are evil, transgender former male athletes are celebrated (even when obviously mentally ill), Christianity is a code word for bigot, yet Muslims are misunderstood and represent a religion of peace.....you can go on and on and on. And this has all taken place in 6 years!

I think it is clear that God has lifted his hedge of protection over us and left us to go at it alone.

as stated before... what's right is wrong, wrong is right and what's good is evil, evil is good.

if there was doubt before, it has been extinguished...we are in the midst of the unraveling.
