Plain ole red driveway gravel will do you fine. Limestone will cost you an arm and a leg.

Just call around and get price on clay gravel.

Lots of demo in Louisville since the tornado. Look around for some crushed concrete. A little dusty, but it makes a good base. I know the hospital is coming down soon.

I'd get a good base of clay gravel down before I put down a layer of crushed asphalt or limestone.

Can't tell you how many thousands of tons we hauled over the years out of Holmes County to put on our fishpond levees.

Spencer always had pretty good stuff.

Hard to beat crusher run 610. The stone will dig in tight and compact with the dust and it will set up very firm and handle heavy loads if compacted well. Pricey for sure though. Still plenty of pits producing good clay gravel also and it will make a good driveway but will require occasional maintenance depending on the situation.

I meant put clay down first, then top with limestone.
