IMO, licenses are not the answer. I understand the premise, what would it hurt? It wouldn't infringe upon legal gun owners? Right? I think that is fairy tale world. They are already trying to pass new executive orders, laws, common sense gun laws, (whatever they're calling them this month) that could restrict and seriously infringe upon legal gun owners rights. Pizz off your girlfriend of 2 days and she files the right kind of claim against you and bam, no more guns for you. Lose your job, get divorced, can't pay your bills, get depressed for whatever reason and decide to get professional help and bam, he turns you in to the right agency and no more guns for you.

Don't look at a mass killing and wonder how the bad guy carried it out, wonder why he did.

I'll wear my tinfoil hat with pride. I believe they absolutely want us unarmed. I believe they'll never stop trying any angle to achieve their goal. EPA is my big worry now.

We already have laws that keep bad people from owning or possession of a gun.
Many drugs are illegal and look how that's turned out! Some folks are just idiots and can't be helped!

More laws certainly won't do anything but cause law abiding citizens more money, time, and head ache!
While criminals run free!

There millions of laws around for thousands of years starting with the ten commandments. More laws is not the answer.

There are millions of guns sitting around not bothering nobody.

You can't legislate crazy.

All you can do is protect you and yours.
Them ducks is wary. We now resume our regularly scheduled forum melee in progress.

Freedom does not come without risks. I want my country to uphold my liberty to address those risks, not take it upon themselves to eliminate the risks at the expense of freedoms.
