anybody have any experience with buying something like this? Ran across this vehicle, great price but not sure about the flood damage deal.

I would never advise buying any vehicle with any flood damage. You'll pay for it later. I don't care what the mechanic says...it's probably a shiny turd.

My wife had that vehicle about 2 years ago. It was the biggest POS that I have ever owned. That vehicle is the sole reason that I will never own another Chevy made product unless its given to me. By the way, hers didn't have any flood damage.

Traverse and Acadia are definitely a POS with or without flood damage, I wholesale every one I can.

Was not planning on buying the flooded one just seems like too many things could be wrong that you can't see. Was thinking about getting a traverse but maybe not now. Guess I will look at the enclaves and tahoes.

We don't have trouble out of the Equinox, but they don't retain much value after 50k miles. The enclaves are really nice, my sister drives one. Hasn't been out long enough to tell about any issues though. Tahoe, IMO is the nicest ride on the road. I deal with pathfinders, Q85's, 4runners, expeditions, etc. Nothing comes close to the Tahoe. Excellent resale value also, can't keep them in stock.
