What would you guys do?

I took 4 ducks and a goose to the taxidermist right after duck season in "2013". I have used him before for several other mounts so he is no stranger. Paid 1/2 the total $ as a deposit. Still no ducks. Have talked to him by phone half a dozen times and he is "always just about to get to it" and "my ducks are next in line". I am thinking about taking him to small claims court. What say you?

If there wasn't anything special about the ducks, I'd ask for a refund of my down payment, and be done with it....

He does it on the side and is very hard to catch up with. He is a fireman and I thought about showing up at the firehouse, but that might not be a good idea these days. He has my 12year old daughters first kill on the fly and my sons first mallard!!!

Ask for your birds and money back and take them somewhere else. Not sure what he charges, but your deposit could easily be ate up by court cost in small claims court. Hope it works out for ya!

You actually have taxidermists that advise their customers to use pantyhose. I just shake my head when I see or hear it.
