shooting at whitetail ridge

Caught tail end of news report last weekend that someone was cleaning a 9mm handgun and shot themselves in the stomach. Report said he was airlifted to NMMC. Anybody know how it turned out for the guy?

I read the news report. But have not heard an update on how he was doing.. It was a Glock 43..

I did not know the guy, but the story I heard was he shot himself in the stomach. Went to hospital and they took him into surgery and the bullet had lodged in a tumor in his stomach that he did know he had. HE works in mysterious ways!!

I am on the Friends of the NRA committee with him. The account about the tumor is correct. Unlucky yet lucky.
