Need single pieces of sod

Postby Natty » Thu May 21, 2015 8:42 am

Anyone know where you can buy single pieces of Bermuda sod around Ridgeland or Flowood? Need about 20-30 pieces.

Garden Works on 51 in Ridgeland sales it by the piece. They are next to Veneble Glass.

Both Lakeland & Garden Works get their sod from the place I am speaking of. Marked up of course.

Well, I called Southern Sod and they said they sell by the pallet only... Guess I'll check Lakeland. Don't really understand why they wouldn't sell it by the piece and cut the middle man out.

I have a sod farm south of Brandon. Call Greg at (601)668-6551 and tell him that Josh told you to call. When it is dry enough to cut he can leave what you need set to the side for you to pick up.

Vickers......I buy all my insurance from you and you don't even give me a plug!! What's wrong with you man :D

Depends on the rain. I am not there on a daily basis, but if you will call Greg he will tell you what he can do.

No worries Vickers.......I was just ribbing you. We don't really chase the smaller orders, but if people will pick up we will do them.

Teul......we have Hybrid Bermuda.......how many acres you need?

Ten4......keep in mind that you can plug it from another area and it will do well. Take a pair of post hole diggers and cut plugs, place them and sand in between. It will do well in most cases.
