beretta sling swivels

Postby .tadpole » Mon Apr 27, 2015 7:59 pm

Where do I find a swivel that will replace the snap in push button swivel in the stock of my A391? I want to install a swivel that will accept a hush stalker sling.

That's not it Joel. I've got that. I'm looking to take out that insert and I have already taken out the screw in insert that this snaps into. I need to replace that piece with another.

I've been through this. Don't recall what I found, but I didn't end up with what I needed. Talked to a gunsmith who had dealt with it; something about drilling holes in end caps, but having to reinforce due the metal being too thin to support a stud.

Good grief what a horrible design.

I did away with the snap swivel and tapped the stock with a standard swivel insert.

Tad, see if this stud will work for what you are talking about.
