Truck prices

When did truck prices go through the roof? Seemed like for a little while they were pretty reasonable now they are ridiculous. Saw a 2015 two wheel drive king ranch f150 with a sticker price of 62,000. Seeing 4 and 5 year old trucks with 100k plus miles going for 20k plus. Just seems ridiculous.

Chalk it up to lenders allowing someone to finance a vehicle for 6+ years, and idiots willing to do so.

At less than 3% rates if you plan to drive it forever why not do six years? Aside from that yep they are high and going up every year. When I bought mine in 2012 I looked at the sticker on a 2013 about six months later and the same exact features were $2400 more. Same dang truck and it went up $2400 just cause.

GM trucks went up $5000 on the body style change. My 2011 listed for $40K. That same truck now may touch $47K sticker.

Vickers I can't help it you break everything you own. Have had great luck on my other Ford vehicles making it to 200k. I see no reason why this one won't either.

$62000 x 3%= $1860
$1860 + $62000= $63860
$63860/72 months= $886.944444 per a month for 72 months.
or
Put that $886 into an investment that averages at least 9% for the same amount of months. At the end of 6 years you will have $81,474.

At the end of 6 years i would rather have $17614 profit to show for my investment than a wore out pick up thats worth one third of what i have invested in it.

$62000 dollar pickup trucks are for multi millionares and people who are to stupid to manage money.
