I went to the heart center here in town and did a heart scan. They slow your heart down with a drug, shoot a radioactive dye in you, and take extremely high-res, 3D pictures of your heart and arteries. Doc said they can see up to a 5% blockage. They slow your heart down so they get good pictures between heart beats.

There is a history of heart problems in my family as with many families. Still a top 2 killer I think. I just turned 50 and thought it best to get it looked at. Kinda like a 50,000 mile overhaul. I was clear as a whistle thank goodness but you never know and best to check it out.
I think because I had a family history and the Doc wrote it up that way then the insurance would cover a good portion of the test. The cost of the test has also come down a bit.
