So what's your go to call. The one you always grab first thing in the morning or reach for when a bird is being difficult.

My David Halloran Crystal Mistress seems to drive the east central MS public birds wild.

I also like Luckydawg's mouth calls (Headcrusher). He sent me one last year and it will have no problem being of service again this year. It could just be me, but that mouth call seems to just fit me and can do it all.

Here is Mr. E's personal East of the Slash Cutting Call that was the second call I made in 1987. This call has 36 birds to it's credit over the past 28 years. It has a patina of blood, sweet, tears, and a lot of mosquito dope. It is usually accompanied by one of my Tom Turpin shortboxes. Mr. E

Talkin' The Talk Sweet Talkin' Series Ceramic is my go to friction

for mouth calls, I use 3 reed with 3000th latex in batwing, ghost, and combo cuts...each day is a bit different but go to is batwing for yelping, combos for cutting and excited yelping, and ghost cuts for softer calling

I've used this Albert Paul box on 66+ dead birds in the last 6 years. I own a couple other of Paul's Calls, but this is "the one". Wouldn't hunt without it. "Misplaced" it on a few hunts in the past and drove many miles and spent hours to find it. My father gave it to me as a gift. He was a turkey killer back in the day...I think he passed some mojo down with this gift. Money couldn't buy it.
