Re: Turkey Hunting Question
Major: couple mouth calls
Minor:TP
Used to look like rambo going into battle, now I find myself with very very little when I head into the woods.

This is what I take turkey hunting: gun, 3 shells, box call, mouth call, compass, seat cushion, binoculars.

Re: Turkey Hunting Question
truly depends on where i'm hunting. if i plan on having to walk lots of miles and spend major time away from the truck.
major- gun, shells, one mouth call, Thermacell, and TP.
minor- more calls, binos, vest/and stool
covering less ground, or small farms-
major- vest with $#!+ in every pocket, water and snacks
minor- decoys, blind (if hunting all day), stool

Re: Turkey Hunting Question
It's hard to answer. I'm a creature of habit. I carry the exact same things every time I go.
If im on public land, I'll add a compass and a topo

Re: Turkey Hunting Question
Major... Mouth calls, at least one extra shell, small can of mosquito repellant since it's lighter than thermacell, vest with seat cushion, gun
Minor..... Decoys, snack, extra face ask and gloves in vest....seems I always lose or forget one of these at some point.

Re: Turkey Hunting Question
Thanks guys! I am getting away from using a turkey vest this year and I am gonna take a back pack instead and use a cabelas gobbler chair to sit in. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I was leaving out of the backpack.
